Godawari Power to invest $373.8 Mn in Chhattisgarh

New Delhi: Integrated steel manufacturer Godawari Power and Ispat announced Monday that it will invest
15.7 billion ($373.8 million) for setting up manufacturing facilities in Chhattisgarh.
In a filing with the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company said a memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed with Chhattisgarh for setting up the facilities as part of its expansion programme.
A special purpose vehicle, Krishna Global Minerals Ltd, will be floated to set up a calcinisation plant, while the other projects will be implemented directly by the company.
