Bangalore: Gmail has once again proved that it is much more smarter than other email services, as it has exceeded its contact list by about 25,000. Until now Gmail had the power to store only 10,000 contacts in the contacts list. This change is implied to all Google app account users as well. This change by Gmail has brought a smile to the Gmail users as they can store a lot of information about their contacts. You have dozens of other information to store such as Email, phone number, Internet call and most important the 'Note'. Gmail has increased the storage capability to 128 KB in size. A Note box which is present on the right hand side of the page is useful for storing full bio data of a person; create reports or data sheets and much more. With the increase in the contact list, the individual contact size is also increased and the upper limit is now 128 kb, a rise from the previous 32kb limit. The previous contact list was sufficient enough with 10,000 contacts limit. Infact most of the users hardly store more than 100 contacts. But off late, several requests by users were sent to Gmail to increase its contact capacity list. The latest change by Gmail will be of great use to students from Universities and colleges, to store thousands of student's biodata and information across their different branches. Secondly, it will be useful to multinational companies for storing their employee's data and send a circular to its employees at a time similarly and this service will be useful for email marketing for online companies. This makes it even easier to store all the contacts on Gmail in just one place rather than branching them out. And this service is free of cost.
