GetWellNetwork receives $10 Million in a series C funding

Bethesda: GetWellNetwork, a provider of Interactive Patient Care (IPC) solutions, has received $10 million in a Series C financing round. This financing included participation from Johnson & Johnson Development Corporation (JJDC), as well as existing investors including Valhalla Partners, Grosvenor Funds, Point Judith Capital, and Village Ventures & Affiliates. "We are very pleased to receive such support from our investors and to add JJDC to our team," said Michael O'Neil, founder and Chief Executive Officer of GetWellNetwork. GetWellNetwork also added eight new hospitals to its growing community. They are Disney Children's Hospital at Florida Hospital, Orlando, Fla; Florida Hospital East Orlando, Orlando, Fla; Florida Hospital Memorial Medical Center, Ormond Beach, Fla; Florida Hospital Orlando Ginsburg Tower, Orlando, Fla; Henry Ford West Bloomfield Hospital, West Bloomfield, Mich; Muskogoee Community Hospital, Muskogee, Okla; Norton Healthcare, Norton Brownsboro Hospital, Louisville, Ky; and West Jefferson Medical Center, New Orleans, La. The GetWellNetwork PatientLife System engages patients and families in their own care process by transforming the in-room television into an interactive resource that delivers personalized information, education and communications tools at the bedside.
