Maharashtra:

This tableau of Maharashtra last year showcased its Lavani dance form and the mighty looking decorated bulls added the glory of the tableau which also indirectly stated the power and hardworking nature of its people.

Manipur:

Manipur portrayed a beautiful tableau last year which depicted a float, the cultural importance of the mythical animal dragon and also revealed the local boat race.

Meghalaya:

In 2010 Meghalaya tableau depicted the unique Bamboo drip irrigation system of Meghalaya that is used to provide water to plantations. Nearly 18-20 litres of water entering the bamboo pipe system per minute gets transported over several hundred metres and finally gets reduced in 20-80 drops per minute at the site of the plant.
