About 10,000 techies working in the electronics city on the outskirts of this tech hub launched an online petition for a corruption free India on 18th August. The online petition has been launched at www.employeesagainstcorruption.com. Every nuke and corner of the country cries for a change and people are coming out in large numbers to express their frustration over the increasing cases of corruption in the country. Taking a cue from Anna Hazare, a 68-year-old Pakistani businessman is set to go on hunger strike in Islamabad from Sep 12 to declare war on endemic corruption in his country. His hunger strike has been on from the day of his release from tihar jail. Various personalities like Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Baba Ramdev made visits to the famous Ramlila ground. On the 23rd August, which mark Anna eight day of Anna?s fast, the parliament set to roll on Anna?s version of Lokpal, however both houses of parliament were adjourned for the day without conducting any significant business as opposition MPs stalled proceedings over the anti-corruption campaign.
