3. No role in decision making
Employees feel they are important and valued in the organization only when they are involved in the decision process and activities. Managers fail to delegate work effectively and the undue micro management by superiors kills the real passion in the techies. The long and complicated chain of command will make it impossible to include all in the decision making process. This feeling of "not valued or respected" makes them look for other options where their work is valued and respected.
