On day 11 of Anna fast the parliament saw Rahul Gandhi speak up where he proposed an idea to construct Lokpal like the Election Commission. Although he appreciated Anna?s efforts towards corruption he said that Individual diktats must not weaken democratic process. On that very occasion the Lok Sabha speaker made a second appeal to Anna to end his fast soon.
Lok Sabha speaker called for an all party meet on the burning question of Anna?s fast unto death and find a way out from this grave situation.
Now the question remains will the entire struggle by so many people make sense and will materialize into a law. More interestingly is the question, will Lokpall serves its purpose or with time even Lokpall will turn into anarchic machinery at the hands of some law makers.
