It is one of his ‘The Best Ever’ series and among the three, the most popular also.  The Best School Year Ever’ and ‘The Best Halloween Ever’ are the two in the series.  ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ tells the story of six crook children with same surname. They all are going church for the very first time as they came to know the church provides some snacks. The Herdmans (the six children with the surname Herdman) is asked to play Christmas story in the Sunday Schools’ Christmas play.
