Bangalore: Based on the consumer demand and feedback, Synaptris has announced the public Beta availability of FewClix, an email productivity add-on for Lotus Notes that completely changes the corporate email paradigm. FewClix is the first email productivity application that gives email users the ability to quickly prioritize their email, search and instantly find any email, personalize their mailbox and email experience, and organize the mailbox for clearing the clutter or for archiving. It also allows users to utilize email network to extend social network. The FewClix Beta product is available on the Lotus Notes platform for both enterprises and individual users and can be downloaded from the company's official side. The FewClix team at Synaptris has spent a significant amount of time over the last 18 months understanding the corporate email paradigm. The team has gathered inputs from non-technical business users and email power users to help identify the specific business pains and the productivity needs of these users. Their inputs have helped shape and define the core functionality of FewClix. Madan S. Kumar, CEO of Synaptris said, "Synaptris' continued focus is on enhancing its leadership position in innovation focused on end users, specifically in the area of making complex information management functionality in the enterprise easy to use and more productive for end-users. FewClix is an extension of this innovation to one of the most ubiquitous enterprise information applications - the email client. With FewClix, for the first time, corporate email users have a way to easily address the email deluge, significantly enhance their overall email productivity and bring sanity back to their mailbox." Over the past several months, the FewClix Private Beta Program has helped to validate that the product meets the needs of users in live enterprise environments. "I have been involved with the FewClix Private Beta program since the start and am truly amazed at the value it delivers to me as an end-user of Lotus Notes. FewClix is very intuitive to use and it didn't take me long to begin using FewClix to its full potential. Search and email prioritization with FewClix has already helped me save at least 30 minutes a day," said Jana Carter, Global Director, Business Applications, Frost and Sullivan Over the last decade, corporate email volumes have risen dramatically and users are finding it increasingly challenging to manage the deluge. While corporate email clients have added significant enhancements in the areas of security, real time collaboration and mashups, there has not been much of a focus on ways to help users manage their emails more effectively. Commenting on this trend, Praveen Sengar, Research Manager at IDC said, "Email management for end users is growing in significance as the number of users and data volume increase. Additionally, the rapid growth projection of unstructured email data means that organizations need to fundamentally address corporate policy management regularly, and support its users' evolving email search requirements." FewClix will extend support for additional platforms including Microsoft Outlook post the General Availability launch of the current offering for Lotus Notes. The company also plans to launch a version for Mac somewhere in near future. FewClix should be available in market in couple of months
