San Francisco: Your Facebook profile page has just undergone a few changes. According to a blog post by Josh Wiseman, Software Engineer, Facebook, the changes will let 'you to tell your story and learn about your friends'. The new profile page is scheduled to roll out early next year.
The new profile page will be a sort of 'conversation starter', starting with basic information like where you are from, information about your school and job. There are new avenues in the profile page to share your interests and activities. You can enlist your recent project at work, your subjects at school, your favorites in music, sports etc.
The above mentioned changes are enhanced by the fact that they are now represented with images.
The page now showcases the recently tagged photos of yours. You can also highlight your important friends or create new friends' groups. A new 'infinite scroll' feature has also been introduced that lets you browse all your photos much faster than before.
Facebook had earlier made changes to its site leading to many criticisms on privacy issues. the new changes introduced hopefully would not meet similar fate.
