Microsoft recruited Nishant Garg, Ajeet Kumar, Rohit Raj and Karan Rawat for a package of 18 lakh per annum, while Walmart offered a package of 22 lakh. Many other reputed companies like IBM, TCS, and Sapient also visited the campus and recruited the students in bulk.

Tiwari further said that information about Garg's selection was received through a communique issued on July 1, 2013 by Sunil Rao, country head - outreach programmes, Google India. It said "This year, we have witnessed unprecedented response and excitement to the Google Student Ambassador programme with over 1,750 strong candidates from more than 100 towns and cities across India vying for the coveted title."  He also said that the institute saw 100 percent recruitment for batches passing out this year and some of the companies even PPOs (Preferred Provider Organization), a health insurance in the United State, to the selected students.
