William Henry Gates, the former CEO and current Chairman of Microsoft, is the second richest man in the world. His mansion, nicknamed ‘Xanadu 2.0.’ is situated on the side of a hill overlooking Lake Washington in Medina, Washington.

The 66,000 square feet house has an estimated value of $147.5 million. It is designed in a Pacific lodge style with a large private library, a dome shaped roof and oculus. It is noted for its design and technology, and has an estate-wide server system, heated floors, and driveways. It includes 7 bedrooms, 24 bathrooms, six kitchens and fireplaces. The rooms are said to have sensors to automatically adjust the temperature, the music, and the lighting based on the guest’s preference.
