Takafumi Horie
The founder of Livedoor, Takafumi Horie who is a Japanese entrepreneur, was arrested on accusations of securities fraud in 2006. Later he was granted bail, and the trail began in September 2006. On March 2007, he was found guilty of falsifying the company’s accounts and misleading investors and sentenced to imprisonment of two years and six months.
