Considered to be India's first hip-hop artist, Hard Kaur made her on-screen debut with her supporting role as a 'desi Punjabi kudi' in 'Patiala House' as Akshay Kumar's sister. She went ahead and played the role even though it demanded kirtans at a gurudwara and middle-parted plaited hair! Akshay Kumar:

Born as 'Rajeev Bhatia', the Khiladi of Bollywood has done playback singing for various movies including 'Chandni Chowk to China', 'Housefull' and 'Singh is King'. But critics seem to find his crooning a little not very impressive. His crooning to "Panauti" definitely turned out to be a panauti for its listeners as well!
