There were around 14 sessions and several delegates including web developers, established and rising entrepreneurs including students were present to attend the event. Amit Agarwal, the Founder of Via, talked on the web apps, the new trends in web space and business models emerging in internet. He said the new trends and business models emerging in web applications are numerable. The emerging business models are group buying, social networking, B2B commerce, mobile and 3G iPad and tablets. These mode used in business would make transaction more friendly and faster. He also suggested brilliant ideas to make the E-commerce powerful by identifying the problems of the customers, identifying the target customers, validating the solutions and sorting out the problems. Taking the customers idea and learning from them is the main part to focus on. People always care about what your application is and how worthy it is. He said "India is a cash economy and use of credit cards among them is still not that important. North east people don't use credit cards and 99 percent of transaction taking place is only through cash. Making them realize the importance of credit card is not necessary as they know how useful it is but the black economy of India would never allow them to use credit cards all the time." People never think language will be a barrier and (Model-view-controller) MVC is a good framework which should be used from the start as it would be great for people who want in rise up in web developing as these web apps are developed for the people. 3D and Java based application will interest people more as presentation with good content is all what people demand. E-commerce is emerging into Indian market in a fast rhythm and there is no consolidation happening in Indian market. A few things like payment, logistic and delivery should be improved for the customers. Their demands should be taken into consideration as E-commerce is a rising tide in India so it's important to work on this flourishing trading style. R.B Srinivas from MindTree said "the information shared by Amit was a quality one and ideas conveyed by him are applauding as it had proper content which should be known by every web developer".
