EMC appoints Tech Pacific as National Distributor

New Delhi: EMC, a information infrastructure solutions provider, appointed Tech Pacific India, a technology distributor as its national distributor. The deal is expected to increase EMC’s national presence and forge mutually beneficial long term partnerships among Value Added Resellers (VARs) across the country. As EMC looks towards doubling its partner base to 200 by the close of 2009, the appointment of Tech Pacific is a crucial strategic step, especially for tier-II cities. Value Added Resellers also have the option of aligning their business with a distributor of choice and including EMC's products in their technology offerings. "Partner networks are crucial for us and we are committed to doubling EMC's partner base in India to 200 by the close of 2009 through the EMC Velocity Partner Program. We look forward to leveraging Tech Pacific's reseller network to extend our information infrastructure solutions to the growing SMB segment in India," said Alok Ohrie, President EMC India & SAARC.
