EKI Communication raises Seed Funding of $250,000

Mumbai: Mumbai-based EKI Communications has raised $250,000 in seed round of funding from Blume Ventures and Rajiv Dadlani Group, reports DealCurry. The fund will be utilized for expansion, product extension on the latest mobile platforms and for hiring. Founded in 2010 by Mandar Vaidya, Mahesh Labhe, Kavi Panjwani and Abhijit Deshpande, EKI Communications focuses to improve value of voice information exchange across platforms for its enterprise customers. Company's flagship product 'Call Recall' is an enterprise mobile collaboration platform that enables business to execute real time transactions using mobile devices. Available on Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, Windows Mobile and J2ME platforms with on iOS release planned shortly, Call Recall Auto currently has more than 180 enterprise user deployments. Out-of-the-box integrations with SAP, NetSuite, Oracle CRM and MS Dynamics are available. With the current round of funding, Karthik Reddy or Sanjay Nath from Blume Ventures and Rajiv Dadlani will join EKI's board. Commenting on the funding, Rajiv Dadlani said that the high availability in archives of knowledge gathered, compliments organizations abilities to satisfy customer needs and to take on greater challenges and achieve new goals. EKI Communications has created a platform 'Call Recall' that leverages the potential of smart phones, integrated with web technologies to take knowledge flowing within organizations on a real-time basis to the next level. Last month, Blume Ventures invested in Faridabad-based cloud computing firm, E2E Networks and last week they along with a group of angel investors from the Rajiv Dadlani Group invested $300,000 in Mumbai-based Adepto Solutions, a social media application development company. The Rajiv Dadlani Group is a group of angel investors who interact and exchange ideas and knowledge and are also part of the Mumbai Angels network and the Indian Angel Network.
