Coyote Point appoints Tez Networks as its Indian distributor

Bangalore: Tez Networks, an IT solutions company in India with domain expertise in internet infrastructure, networking and network security, has entered into an alliance with Coyote Point Systems, a provider of application acceleration and load balancing solutions for mid-market companies. Tez will distribute Coyote Point's Equalizer family of load balancers and application acceleration solutions in India.
Delip Singh, Managing Director of Tez Networks says, "With the vast deployment of web based applications and a growing need to keep these applications continuously up, we see an opportunity to take the leadership in the application acceleration and load balancing space. Companies cannot afford breakdowns of critical applications or websites. They need a delivery platform which eliminates single points of failure and provides high availability and disaster recovery."
As per the alliance, Tez Networks will be responsible for sales and marketing of Coyote Point products in India. Tez Networks will develop VARs (Value Added Resellers), solution providers, system integrators and channel partners for Coyote in India. The company will go ahead with an expansive training program for local resellers educating them about the technology and pre and post sales aspects of the solutions.
Singh says, "The slowdown in the market has made many organizations cut IT budgets and defer deployment of expensive solutions. Tez Networks partnered with Coyote Point to provide enterprise class application load balancing and acceleration solutions to channel partners at a competitive price point. These cost effective products provide high quality, high performance application delivery solutions tailored to the Indian market."
Tez Solutions, the services arm of Tez Networks has worked with Coyote Point for several years to add functionality to Coyote Point's products and to provide quality assurance services. "Our development relationship with Tez, made it a natural choice for us to appoint them as our distribution partner in India," said, Bill Kish, CEO and CTO, Coyote Point. "They have domain knowledge and their reputation and strategic relationships with India's top resellers will help us to expand our presence in Indian market. It is a win-win situation for both the companies."
Targeted at web-enabled businesses, Coyote Point solutions are installed at many leading organizations in e-commerce, government, education, finance, legal, insurance and healthcare.
