Controversial Tweets That Made Headlines

Sonam Kapoor (June 2011):
Bollywood Actress and fashionista, Sonam Kapoor’s tweets too came up in this list when she has gone ahead and criticized the renowned yoga guru, Baba Ramdev on Twitter. She tweeted, “I prefer Baa Baa Black Sheep over Baba Ramdev.” The actress didn’t even think twice before tweeting. One of her fans replied to her tweet saying that it was really rude of her to say such a thing. To this, Sonam tweeted back saying, “As rude as you should be to a sexist homophob!” This controversial tweet emerges when Baba Ramdev was in the news for protesting against corruption.  But before the war of words spilled out on Twitter, Sonam made a valid point. Her tweet said, “Sadly for us (& happily 4 political parties) the #BabaRamdev episode has diverted evry1's attention fm the main issue: corruption.”
