CEOs who Earned more than their Companies' Taxes

With a lump sum of $15,199,762 as compensation in 2010 that Jeff Immelt received from his company General Electric (GE), the company just paid $3.2 billion as the Corporate Income Taxes to the government for the same year. Immelt is the CEO of General Electric that operates in four segments, namely Energy, Technology Infrastructure, Capital Finance and Consumer & Industrial. He joined GE in 1982 and took over the role of Chairman and CEO in 2001. He holds an A.B. in Applied Mathematics from Dartmouth College and currently serves on the board of trustees for the college.
