After dating each other for 5 years, Indian Textile heir Arun Nayar married actress Elizabeth Hurley on  March 2, 2007. They had two wedding ceremonies one in England and the other in India. They tied the knot in a Christian ceremony at Sudeley Castle in England and the Hindu wedding was held at Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.

According to the Hindu tradition the sangeet was held at Nagur Fort and the reception was held at Mehrangarh Fort in Jodhpur. The wedding saw a lot of international celebrities in attendance. Singer Elton John was the one who gave the bride away.

But sadly this glamorous wedding did not last more than 4 years with Hurley divorcing Arun Nayar on grounds of irreconcilable differences. Both of them have moved on in life Hurley dating Australian spin master, Shane Warne and Nayar dating a 25 year old model Kim Johnson.
