Renault Duster is the perfect blend of larger hatchback and smaller SUV is. It will be launched in India by mid-2012. Powered by a 1.5-liter dCi motor it produces 105 BHP of power and 240 Nm of torque. It comes with a 1.6-liter petrol engine which will produce 105 BHP of power and 148 Nm of torque. Renault will put forward the Duster in both 4x2 and 4x4 options with prices starting at 8 lakhs. The Duster will battle with the Mahindra Scorpio and the Tata Safari.
