BWIR in strategic partnership with Tacton Systems

Chennai: Barry-Wehmiller International Resources (BWIR), a global solutions partner specializing in the creation, development and integration of IT and engineering solutions, has announced a strategic relationship with Tacton Systems of Sweden for the global delivery of services around design automation in SolidWorks based on TactonWorks, and product configuration systems in general based on Tacton Configurator. The services will be provided by BWIR as part of the eConfiguration practice that covers sales configurators, engineering configurators and engineering automation. The partnership is intended to combine the product strength of Tacton with the services expertise of BWIR to provide solutions to enhance the competitiveness of prospective customers in the marketplace.
Announcing this strategic partnership, Senthil Kumar, Vice President and Senior Partner - Operations for BWIR, said, "Our engineering and IT capabilities complemented by the Tacton products suite will enable us to expand our ability to offer world-class engineering and IT automation solutions. BWIR will also have access to training and support as required from Tacton to offer even greater value to our customers."
