Myth: Low-fat or nonfat means no calories-
low fat
Fact: Foods considered to be low-fat or nonfat are often lower in calories than the same size portion of the full-fat version. However most processed low-fat or non fat food have just as many calories as the full-fat version or sometimes even more calories as they include added flour, sugar or starch thickeners to perk up flavor and texture after the fat is removed.
