Hours devoted to insiders increase one to one with hours worked, whereas hours spent with outsiders alone are negatively co-related with total hours of work. The negative co-relation between hours worked and hours spent with outsiders is driven by the fact that CEO's who work longer hours devote few hours to one on one meeting with outsiders alone. Hence a CEO who spends longer hours in work devotes more time to insiders and less time with outsiders is bound to witness higher growth.Aligned interest of the CEO with the firm and more time allocation to insiders is the ultimate way to achieve productivity.
