Symphony Services takes over CoreObjects Software

Bangalore: Symphony Services, a software product engineering services, has acquired Los Angeles-based CoreObjects Software, a product development services provider. CoreObjects has its Indian branches in Bangalore and Pune that will help Symphony Services expand its offerings in the product development and embedded product development space. With this acquisition, Symphony Services will be able to have access to additional re-usable components and frameworks for product development, including CoreObjects’ Smart Objects™ suite of software assets. The Smart Objects suite includes Smart Machines and Smart Vitals. Specialization of CoreObjects covers helping emerging and established technology companies achieve go-to-market, budget and specification goals for cutting-edge technology products. The acquisition provides Symphony Services with unparalleled intellectual property that will help it advance client market share within the fast-growing health care sector. The deal will also fetch Symphony Services a new list of clients as well as the opportunity to expand client relationships in high growth market sectors such as financial services, life sciences and clean tech.
