The fifth richest woman inherited stakes in auto maker BMW from her father late. Herbert Quandt. Herbert rescued BMW from bankruptcy in early 1960s. The 48 year old billionaire is worth $14.6 billion. She is an economist and has also done her masters in business administration. She inherited a 50 percent stake in chemical manufacturer Atlanta and gradually took 100 percent control on the company and delisted the firm. Klatten's personal fortune rose to $3.5 billion in the past year.
