Getting a construction permit is a major problem in Argentina. It takes around a year to get a permit which is highest when compared to other Latin American nations. For initiating a business it takes 26 days which it twice more than OECD countries. The country failing to pay their debts in the year 2002 lost its goodwill among other nations and led to the foreign companies leaving the South America’s second-biggest economy. Ever since the company has imposed several procedures to bring back the money by nationalizing its $24 billion pension fund industry and restricting the acquisition of farmlands by foreigners.
