20 lakh ($38,000). By the end of the first week, the film netted a total of
50 crore ($9.5 million), in the process became the biggest opening ever for a women-oriented film in the history of Indian Cinema. It collected 11.50 crore ($2.19 million) net on its second weekend. In the international markets, the film released day-and-date in the UAE, UK, North America, Mauritius, Malaysia, Singapore, Kenya, Tanzania, Indonesia, South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Hong Kong. Its net opening in these territories was approximately
3.5 crore ($665,000). Ekta Kapoor once again managed to flow with a gross collection of
20.32 crore at the box office in India alone.
