7) Church Street and Brigade Road (Bangalore) –

Our very own Brigade and Church Street get 6/10 stars on the Trendometer. Brigade is literally the ‘pub central’ of the city. The young and hip crowd of the city, both Indian and western, throng Brigade as the moon rises in the sky. Here, people can buy a pitcher of beer for 250 to 350 and snack on the famous non-vegetarian dishes, like – Pandhi Fry. Cafe Matteo is rage among the youth in the city as Matteo is still in sync with blues, jazz and rock, being played at the pub. The working class of the city populates Brigade and Church Street because of presence of inexpensive hard-drinks, cool songs and countless fun shopping plazas.  Koshy's, on neighboring St. Marks Road, is a popular haunt of students, journalists and writers. Peco's, Hard Rock Café, Coconut Grove, The Tavern and Café Matteo are the places to be in Brigade and Church Street. Only M.G, road gives decent competition to these 2 pub giants of Bangalore
