Boston: According to Microsoft, the highest priority was deserved by software updates that write over glitches and thus, should be deployed immediately so that the users are well protected from potential criminal attacks on Windows and Internet Explorer, as reported by Reuters.
With the step towards protecting the users, Microsoft has also taken a step forward to repair other less serious security weaknesses in Windows, along with security problems in its widely used Office software for PCs and Microsoft Exchange email software.
On the whole, Microsoft has released 17 security patches to address the 40 problems present in its products. The company has issued repairs to its ever-present Windows operating system and Internet Explorer browser in order to avoid flaws that may lead to hacking.
This entire process would reduce the time consumed in unvarying patching of PCs for corporate users. They require testing the fixes before they install them to make sure machine crash does not take place because of compatibility problems with existing software.
