B-Schools Which Became Famous Because Of Their Alumni
Wharton is the world's first collegiate business school and the first business school in the United States, which was established in 1881 through a donation by Joseph Wharton, and is one of the most competitive business schools in the world. According to The Economist, the online journal which the Wharton school publishes, Knowledge@Whatron, is the envy of every other school. Wharton usually receives the highest reputation scores from academicians and recruiters. Few well-known Wharton alumni are Chip Goodyear (CEO of BHP Billiton), Donald D. Humphreys (COO of Exxon Mobil), Gerard Kleisterlee (CEO and President of Philips), Terry Leahy (CEO of Tesco), and Rakesh Gangwal (Chairman and CEO of U.S. Airways).
