Bharti Airtel asks for U.S. and Australian partners for datacenter biz

Bangalore: India based cellular service provider Bharti Airtel is likely to partner with U.S. and Australian companies to expand its datacenter business, according to The Business Standard. The report states that the company expects to close these deals in the next two quarters.
The company is already providing datacenter services under the name of Managed Co-location Services and owns storage space in cities like Mumbai, New Delhi, Bangalore, Chennai and Pune.
The company's enterprise business that provides internet services, VPN services and domestic satellite services (VSAT) contributes 21 percent of its total revenue. The company contributes 20 percent of its capital expenditure to this business.
