4.Corbet National park Corbett National Park is the first national park in India and is also well known for its tiger reserve. Located in Uttarakhand, this park is named after author and photographer Jim Corbett. Though chances of spotting a tiger inside this beautiful park are rare, you may see one that was not baited or tracked. The jeep safari inside the park is worth a trial. If you are seeking fun and adventure, a visit to this beautiful park is a must. Corbett is one of the few parks in northern India with wild elephants, and chances of seeing them are great indeed.

5. Bandavgarh, Madhya Pradesh This wild life park derives its very name from an ancient fort in the area. Bandhavgarh National Park belongs to the Vindhyan mountain range of central India and has the highest density of tiger population in the country. One can spot about 46 to 52 tigers here. An added advantage is that the Tala village, right by the park's main gate, has many choices of accommodation, to suit all budgets. A one or two hour safari on elephant-back is worth a trip.
