ASUS introduces ultra-slim designer Wi-Fi router

Bangalore: Among other product displays shown off by ASUS at CeBIT is this fashionably designed and ultra-thin RT-N56U Wi-Fi router, reports Electronista. Despite the reveal, ASUS is not forthcoming with technical details, saying that only the router operates on either the 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands, had dual-band support and can be used to send data to wireless printers and scanners. ASUS also promises fast performance, with 300,000 concurrent sessions available. As with other ASUS routers, the RT-N56U has the company's exclusive EZ UI interface which eases setup. However, pricing, market availability or ship dates were not revealed.
