Asia, The Luring Future Of Mobile Internet

In India, there are bevy of handset manufacturers like Micromax, Lava, Korbonn and others who offer cheaper Smartphones that some time features high-end abilities, for example Micromax’s Canvas 4 features are comparable to Samsung's Galaxy S3 and Note 2, but at up to half the price. "It's very hard for a company like Samsung to compete with these guys," noted Singh.

On the other hand, Tablet prices are actually falling at a faster rate creating across the region what Singh calls "a whole new category of Internet user." For example you can buy an android powered tablet at a price as low as 5000. Lava, Micromax, HCL, iBall, Celcon and others are the front runners.

However high cost 3G, patched network availability, which works good in urban areas than rural, may hinder the mobile internet growth in Asia, so there is a need of enterprises which can solve this issue and harvest the opportunity the continent holds.
