Santa Clara: The U.S.-based Apptivo, a SaaS platform provider that manages all aspects of a small business, launched a free fundraising application. The application can help start-ups and SMEs to connect with potential investors.
Founded in 2008 and with its development centers in Madurai and Chennai, the company plans to enter India by launching a new fundraising collaboration hub in India in the next few months. It plans to file for patents for the fundraising collaboration hub. Apptivo completely automates common business processes including financials, e-commerce and fulfillment, procurement, human resource, web content management, customer relationship management, sales force automation and fund raising.
Bastin Gernald, founder and CEO, Apptivo, said that the new fundraising app can record the soon-to-be entrepreneurs or existing SMEs investment leads to prospective angel investors or VCs, their interest levels and how much they are willing to invest.
Besides this, the startups can create an audio/video presentation and send across to VCs and the VCs can give their comments and can put in money through online process and in real time. The free app can be used to manage all communication with potential investors, organize contacts into lists, assign tasks to specific employees and much such assistance that ensures the startup to save their time and energy.
