Apple may unveil new iPhone on June 22
Bangalore: Apple may introduce the next generation of iPhone on Tuesday 22 June 2010, according to some reports. In line with previous iPhone announcements, the company has reportedly booked the Yerba Buena Center for Arts, located by the Moscone Center in San Francisco, to unveil the new iPhone. Apple has had a history of releasing their iPhones in the month of June. Hence, it was only logical that this June too shouldn't be any different. Reports claim that the new model will feature twice the screen resolution of the current iPhone, enabling it to display high definition content on the small screen. The new screen technology is said to double the current display from 480x320 to 960x640 pixels. Other features may include a slightly thinner frame, improved performance courtesy of Apple's A4 processor from the iPad plus the added bonus of an iSight web cam, that could accompany iChat software enabling video chat on the iPhone for the first time.
