Bangalore: With advent of breakthrough technology and growing Smartphone market, the competition in the field of developing applications for the various mobile platforms has just got heated up. The TechEd 2012, organized by Microsoft on March 21-23 in Bangalore saw the likes of some of the leading software developers and architects across the country

Covering important topics like Advantage of modern hardware for app development and developing Metro style apps for Windows 8, the sessions provided detailed picture of the present trends and predicted future prospects, with a special stress on developing apps for Windows Platform. Providing an overview to the Windows Phone Ecosystem, Sadagopan Rajaram and Mini Nair guided the developers to develop efficient and marketable Windows apps.

“Windows phone 7 defines a new way to share and enhance your productivity. A refreshing UI and an equally refreshing usability make it one of its kinds. Our design language Metro, strongly inspired by transportation graphics allows the user to find their way through the device easily and with a lot of fluidity, just like travelling from one part of the city to another using the easily comprehensible sign boards,” says Mini Nair, the Program Manager from Microsoft.
