Airtel ties up with Hewlett-Packard

New Delhi: India's leading telecom operator Bharti Airtel has announced its collaboration with U.S.-based computer maker Hewlett-Packard (HP) to promote broadband and computer penetration in the country. With this partnership, Airtel will offer consumers a broadband connection at discounted entry cost with every HP and Compaq notebook and desktop, a company statement said. Under the offer, customers will get Airtel broadband connection at consumer-friendly terms that include zero security deposit and installation fee, free Wi-Fi connection and discounts on broadband rental up to 14 months, the statement added.
