Airtel Mobitude 2011 Reveals Data Traffic Trends on Mobile Devices in India
Bangalore : Bharti Airtel, India’s leading telecommunications company, has released data traffic trends on mobile devices in India as part of its annual survey of customer preferences- Airtel Mobitude 2011. This is the only annual survey of its kind that captures customer preferences through their mobile usage patterns and trends among customers across India.
The findings reveal India’s mobile internet preferences, as 21percent of Facebook users in India access the social networking site via Airtel mobile, whereas social networking sites like Orkut and Twitter are accessed 6 percent and 4 percent respectively. Google and Gmail and Facebook are the most visited sites. And Cricket, Bollywood and SpyCam apps are among the top 10 most downloaded apps.
