Airtel CEO sells entire stakes, shares slip

Bangalore: In an unexpected move in Bharti Airtel which triggered a further slip in the share price, the company CEO Manoj Kohli has sold entire holding (1.2 lakh shares) in open market on March 6 and 9. The company shares are trading in negative for the last 12 months.
The CEO, however, asserts the move is due to some personal reasons, reports CNBC-TV18. He has sold his entire stake of 70,000 equity shares and currently hold no share in the company.
On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the company's share last traded at
563.00, a decline of
25 or around 4.21 percent. At 10:26 am, the share was quoting at
570, down Rs 17.75, or 3.02 percent on the NSE. The scrip has recorded volumes of over 1.3 million shares on NSE on Monday.
