Bangalore: Do you want to build a startup which will be the next Zynga? Then here is one by investor Adam Ludwin, who is an associate at RRE Ventures.

Ludwin’s dream startup doesn’t exist yet and when it is built, he will happily be investing in it. Ludwin said, “Zynga was the first one to prove that you could make a business building from Facebook, and somebody would soon build a Zynga on top of Pinterest,” as stated in BI.

Ludwin doesn’t mean building an online photo sharing site, but he says, “Someone will use Pinterest API and build a better online shopping site with beautiful characteristics like, when you click on a pair of shoes, it won’t be curated by a buyer, instead it will be what’s trending right now. The displayed products will be what’s being noticed by tastemakers and individuals.”  The startup will have to identify the hot products and update it in the supply chain.

Pinterest, founded in 2010 had witnessed an explosive growth last year, like Twitter in 2007 and Facebook in 2006 and its monthly page views are rumored to be more than 1 billion.

Pinterest hasn’t developed an API yet and Ludwin also warns the startup dreamers that Pinterest might build the business itself.
