A Snoop into CES 2012
Intel introduced the concept of Ultrabook in May 2011 to compete with Apple’s MacBook Air. It is predicted that there will be around 30 to 50 models of this new breed of notebooks in the show. If these rumurs are true then there will lots of these thin, lightweight, speedy and stylish version of laptops flooding the market after this giant event.
We cannot forget the tablets which played a key role in the CES 2011 and has been a big topic since CES 2010. Now in CES 2012 several manufacturers are introducing tablets with new OS; Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and most excitingly with Windows 8. Windows 8 tablet will be a key product in CES 2012. Acer and Lenovo is coming up Windows 8 tablets with Intel’s Clover Trail processor on which Intel will be providing a demo.
The internet is now fully loaded with leaks, rumors and teaser about the products which are going to be exhibited in CES 2012, one among them is Sony Ericsson who dropped few clues about their announcement through teaser photo. Samsung has also posted a teaser for its Smart TV in YouTube expressing the evolution of TV in the past 50 years and concluded with ‘what next.’
