Yokogawa Blue Star gets Rs 1.7 cr order

BANGALORE: Yokogawa Blue Star Ltd. (YBL), a process automation company, has announced that it has bagged a major order from Maharashtra State Electricity Board (MSEB) for supply of Zirconia Oxygen Analysers with Yokogawa’s innovative cell technology. The order worth Rs 17 million, involved the supply and installation of Yokogawa’s Zirconia Oxygen Analysers to 52 power units of MSEB, spread over seven sites located at Jalgaon, Chandrapur, Koradi, Nashik, Parli and Khaperkheda in Maharashtra. The Zirconia Oxygen Analyser, which is attached to the stack connected to the boiler in the power plant, helps optimize furnace efficiency, saves energy and offers increased environmental protection. YBL commissioned the entire project in a record time of 80 days.
