World's 10 Most Expensive Champagnes

Dom Perignon Rose
Dom Perignon Rose takes the third place with its high price of $350. It is produced by the champagne house Moet & Chandon, as a brand of vintage champagne. Vintage champagne is the one which is not prepared during the weak years and the grapes that are used in the preparation are harvested in the same year. It gets its name from a Benedictine monk. Dom Perignon Rose is often bid at auctions. This sparkling wine is a blend of 50 percent of Pinot Noir and 50 percent Chardonnay. However in every vintage the finale composition of the champagne is changed.

Salon 1995
Salon 1995 is on the fourth place on the most expensive champagne roll call. Each bottle comes at a teasing price of $242. This champagne is known to be grainy and assertive in its texture. The flavor is intense and powerful.  The graphite, biscuit, peach, honeysuckle and floral tinges balance blend brings out its strong flavor. It is defined by its solid preparation which lasts till the end. When this champagne is opened it ‘need to breath’ and needs time to harmonize its elements.
