Words to Strike Off from a Resume
Bangalore: People assume that a lengthier resume gives them a better chance to grab a job. As a result, they load their resume with adjectives and adverbs so as to make a perfect grammatically correct resume. But they forget that there are many cliché words, which give a sad impression to the interviewer rather than taking them off their feet. Here are some words that must be struck off from a resume.
People generally start off their resume stating their career objectives, as in what they want to achieve in their career span, which is a turn off. The top portion of a resume is where the first glance of anyone would go to, hence it would consist something strong enough to make an impact. You can add your achievements or the details of your projects, which would have more bearing on the interviewer, than listing out what you expect to get out of a potential job.
