Internationally renowned yoga guru BKS Iyengar had strongly condemned Baba Ramdev saying that some of his teachings are corrupting Patanjali's yoga. Iyengar says over-publicizing of specific aspects like 'kapalbhati' is wrong and is a 'short-cut' that should be avoided. Iyengar who has over 10 million yoga practitioners didn't directly name Ramdev, but the message was pretty clear as Ramdev rose to fame mainly spreading 'kapalbhati' through TV.
