Maruti XA Alpha:

The real competitor in 2013’s MPV arena, Maruti comes into the list with its XA Alpha. This vehicle also was showcased for the first time at the Delhi Expo and had many eyeballs popped at the venue. The MPV simply is cloned out of the ever-present Swift platform put into a mini SUV.

The overall appearance of Maruti XA Alpha concept amazed many onlookers at the Auto Expo especially with its novel five-block grille design, large bonnet, bulging wheel arches and heavy looking bumper.

The vehicle is expected to lock horns with Ford EcoSport and is expected to get a release date by the third quarter of 2013.

According to certain reports, the vehicle is said to have spacious interiors with 2 seats specially designed for kids, which also can be folded to increase the baggage space.

The Maruti XA Alpha is said to give a decent mileage, as the vehicle is expected to carry K-Series petrol and DDiS diesel engine. The Maruti XA Alpha is expected to be tagged somewhere around 6,00,000 to 7,00,000 lakh.
