Explanation: VDI will save the effort of going to every single workstation and upgrading it with the new updates.
Advantage: The image created for the application and software update need to be shooted once over the network and all the users relying on that VDI can enjoy the benefits.
The Other Side: The people who will be managing VDI should be well accustomed to the features and limitations of the technology. They will have to makes sure that they do not include users who need unique applications.

4. Feature: Troubleshooting Simplicity
Explanation: As and when problems will arise, the administrator  fix the error  only in a single system that will save him the effort and time for doing it over all affected systems.
Advantage: All the errors can easily be fixed from the datacenter instead of going to all the individual systems.
The Other Side: Any error on the server side will result in the productivity loss for a number of users and until the error is fixed the workforce will remain idle. Thus, employing a back-up is always advisable.
